Training with the National Korean Squad at Yang's gym was a great experience. They took a shine to some of our younger players, and taught them a lot. They are amazing, great technique and determination. A rigorous session but well worth it. |

Excellent selections for us, out of a Australian team of 20 we had 5 from our club for the championships in Vietnam. Strong performances by all our club players even though for most it was their first international event ever. Great learning experience for all team members. |

What a great year, team of the tournament, 20 fighters, 10 Gold, 7 Silver & 2 Bronze. All players put in an exceptional effort, great team bonding and a good time had by all. |

We did well this year, 13 Players, 8 Gold, 3 Silver, & 1 Bronze. Some amazing fights. We took in the sites, ate some great seafood at Fisherman's Wharf & enjoyed ourselves. |

United Pro got to train with the 2004 Olympic team at the Homebush facility, where they picked up some valuable tips from all the Olympic team members. |

Our Demo team were one of the guest performers to the opening of the new store, over two days our junior team wowed the crowd with their sparring and technique. |

Our Demo team got show off their stuff with some technical sparring and some drills, for the 2004 Olympic team at a breakfast organized by Taekwondo Australia at the Wentworth Hotel in Sydney. |

Team of 19 fighters, 7 Gold, 5 Silver & 4 Bronze. All players were sterling, great team effort and good memories to take home. Lots of things learnt and some good first timer performances. |

We had four players make the Australian team, Rima, Gylan, Elly & Hayder. They all fought exceptionally well against some tough competitors. In the end they came away with two bronze medals and new experiences. It was great to see them fight on home soil for such an event. |

The championships were held at The Brisbane Indoor Sports Centre in Queensland. We had four from our club on the Australian team Ali had some tough rounds but the three girls shone. Elly & Jennifer won bronze medals and Rima came home with the gold. A sterling effort by all. |

Gold at the German Open. Safwan gets another International title after winning the German Open, this adds to Saff’s swag of international medals, and puts him in a good position for the next lot of selections for Beijing. Congratulations Safwan on a great victory. |

We took 25 players and as a result we took home 15 Gold & 6 Silver medals, making us the top ranked club of the tournament by 6 Gold medals, the closest winning nine. A special mention to Domanik Eparaima who took home 2 Gold medals, one in sparring and one in poomsae. |

In all we had 19 players enter and took home 15 Gold & 5 Silver medals. A special win for Mohamed Korhani, who set a new club record winning gold in the final by K.O. in 14 seconds in round one. Amara & Yasmin Gold and Silver in their first event ever. Well done girls. |

Selections for Jordon were in Melbourne & we came away with 4 Gold and 2 Silver out of our team of 9. An Australian team of ten is to go & our club has four players being the only club with so many, making up 40% of the national team is a fantastic result . Go Team. |

Another solid performance at the Nationals, 9 Gold, 5 Silver & 6 Bronze from a team of 23. Special mention of Gylan & Elly who won gold in both Junior & Senior divisions. Bad luck for Rosie who broke her foot (Again). Congratulations to Marwan for winning Coach of the Year, Safwan for Senior Male Player of the Year & Rima for Junior Female Player of the Year. Easily the club to beat in Australia this year.

We had three player represent our club at the 2007 International TKD Club Championships in Perth. Mohamed Korhani, Yasin Ashley & Elly Greenfield all winning Gold medals in the junior division. Also Elly won Gold, Mohamed won Silver and Yasin was doing well till his withdrawal due to injury in the senior divisions. Our club was second overall in the championships which is a great effort considering we had only three players. Well done guys. |

This tournament saw us with 24 players, but short our international players who were not allowed to compete due to the pending world Championships. Winning the Club Trophy for top club, attaining 10 Gold, 13 Silver & 7 Bronze in Sparring and 1 Gold in Poomsae was an amazing result. Marwan was over the moon winning the club trophy again, and with our new players attaining great results we are looking good for Nationals. |

In Amman Jordon we had a great result for our club with Elly & Rima both getting Bronze medals, and good solid performances by Hayder and Gylan. Apparently a good time was had by all and some great fights. Experiences from this will be invaluable to the club as these players return home. |

The High Performance Program Training Squad pool Selection for 2008. A total of 22 members from NSW, we have 10 members from our club. Congratulations to; Ali Khalil, Peter Vassily, Rima Kanoun, Elly Greenfield, Yasin Ashley, Gylan Al Atroushi, Mohamad Korhani, Jennifer Connor, Daniel Madani & Sarah Coleman. Excellent performances through the year and last years nationals these players are now strong contenders for spots in the Australian Senior & Junior teams. Marwan was also selected as the National Junior Coach and our Dojang was nominated as a High Performance Training Centre.

At the US Open in Las Vegas Elly Greenfield and Rosie Fazio represented our club as part of the Australian team. Rosie had a strong completion for her first international tournament. Elly as usual winning a gold medal in the finals. Congratulations to Rima Kanoun for winning ‘Junior Sports Star of the Year’ for the Liverpool Leader newspaper this year. Well done girls. |
